  • “Being apart of BMBFA is the gift that keeps on giving. When I became a mommy ambassador over 7 years ago, I could not have imagined how much of a blessing this opportunity would be. I have helped my community. I gained sisters and increased my village. I have grown as a leader and built a career. I am honored to do this work alongside the committed, brilliant, and passionate women on this team. BMBFA Mommy Ambassadors are known for our tenacity, bravery and commitment to black women and babies, as we elevate our voices to demand better and create better… I found a deep sense of purpose here, that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.”

  • “BMBFA was such an instrumental part of my breastfeeding journey that I was so grateful for the opportunity to become a mommy ambassador for the organization. I gained community with a group of fearless, bold, and committed breastfeeding women. It was incredible to be called on to publicly advocate for women whose breastfeeding rights were being taken advantage of and to advocate for safe, public, community spaces for breastfeeding mothers. As a BMBFA mommy ambassador I was provided many opportunities to offer input on policy changes that would support birthing and breastfeeding women and I am forever grateful.”
