Mykah Drake serves as the Communications Specialist at Black Mothers’ Breastfeeding Association, overseeing organizational messaging to ensure the organization’s programs, initiatives, and resources are accessible, consistent, and aligned with the needs of Detroit families. She also serves as a key support in event planning, website management, and graphic design, helping to maintain BMBFA’s public presence and engagement.

Mykah holds a Master’s degree in Communication and is dedicated to strengthening connections between BMBFA and its audiences through clear, intentional, and equity-centered communication. Her work centers on bridging information gaps, uplifting community-rooted storytelling, and supporting BMBFA’s mission to advance Black maternal and infant health.
