Rachael Wigley
Rachael Wigley serves as the Program & Platform Support Manager at Black Mothers’ Breastfeeding Association, where she leads the coordination of The Birth & Breastfeeding Leadership Institute (BBLI) cohorts and oversees the development and management of the organization’s digital asset, Plappi. She also plays a lead role in supporting BMBFA’s national conference planning and advancing advocacy initiatives in collaboration with the Black Breastfeeding Caucus. Through this work, she helps strengthen access to education, digital resources, and systems-level support for Black breastfeeding families nationwide.
Rachael holds an academic background in Business Management and is a Certified Lactation Consultant, bringing both operational expertise and clinical knowledge to BMBFA’s programs and leadership development efforts. Her work reflects a strong commitment to empowering families, expanding access to culturally responsive lactation support, and advancing BMBFA’s mission to improve breastfeeding equity and maternal-infant health outcomes.
