Black Breastfeeding Caucus

Established in 2016, The Black Breastfeeding Caucus (BBC) was established to champion the health and wellness of Black families through breastfeeding advocacy and support. Since its inception, the BBC has focused on addressing the racial disparities in breastfeeding rates and ensuring Black voices are represented in policy, research, and community programs. Over the years, the caucus has grown into a national network of leaders, healthcare professionals, and advocates committed to advancing equity in maternal and child health. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, the BBC continues to elevate Black families and empower them to achieve optimal breastfeeding outcomes.
